Pumpkins Pumpkins everywhere....
First time we got to see Ashley's apartment since they moved in. It is very nice. It has 2 bedrooms, 2 full baths, a good size kitchen, dining, and living room. I like the open concept. We we got there she had all he window blinds open and it made the room look even bigger. We brought up air mattresses. Comfortable for one night.
I get the privilege of of watching the little "bug" this week. I love watching her. She is so sweet. I am enjoying being a grandma....love the little ones. Below are 5 pictures taken this past week-end. Nice time....nice display and nice day. Perfect weather for an outing!
Chillin' in the Pumpkin Patch!!
We acted goofy in the pumpkin patch! We had alot of fun! We had some good laughs! Ashley and Josh thanks for your hospitality. We had a great time! I am hoping I can get the rest of the family together at some point. If I could get a few of Allison and Colton that would be perfect. I would also like to get together Amanda, Andy and Haelee, but I realize that maybe a challenge with Andy working everyday 12 nights. We will see what happens.
Becky, Allison, Lloyd, Joshua, and Ashley.....and a whole bunch of pumpkins!! Believe it or not that was a very relaxing moment. Below is me and 2 of my girls Allison and Ashley....missing you Amanda...

Homecoming #2
Well, last night was Homecoming #2. They seemed to have alot of fun! This time it was LaPorte's. The game was Friday and LaPorte won.... Yeah! The dance was the next night. They went to Antonio's first and then to the dance at the high school from 8 pm-12 am. We took a ton of pictures before they left. I think we were all tired of picture taking by time the night was done. They are such a cute couple. He really treats her like a princess. That is one of the many things I like about him. Good guy...
She is a junior at LaPorte High school and he is a senior at Deer Park High school. He is already 17 and she will be 17 in December. They met at church while on the praise team. I remember for months her telling me about this handsome guy on the praise team who she really liked. When she talked about him
At times they remind me of Ashley and Josh at this age. I used to take their pictures all the time before all the homecomings, proms, military balls etc. They were always goofy and fun to shoot pictures of. Colton doesn't mind having his picture taken so it is fun to take their pictures.
Most important they had a great time.

Pumpkin Pictures....they so good!!
Well I took Haelee out for her first set of pumpkin pictures! She is soooo cute!! We took 161 pictures to start with.....had know idea I shot that many. By time I weeded through them, choose the best ones, I was down to 70. I have choose my favs to share.....
These were taken at the Methodist church in Deer Park. They have these pumpkins out every year. We went last year and took some of what family we could get togethe
She is just too cute. I wish I had been able to do this with my own daughters when they were little. We are going to see Ashley and Josh and plan on doing fall pictures there in a few weeks. I just love fall pictures, the colors, the pumpkins, and the brisk air(sometimes it happens in Houston). I know not often. I hope to get all the family fall pictures together into a special album. Right now I have several projects I need to finish first.
I love this little pumpkin. She has to be the cutest! Love you Haelee...your Grandma....

Pumpkin Patches
I love this time of year and the colors. It is my favorite time. Every year I really work hard to take pictures of as may people I can get together. I love scrapbooking this holiday more than any other.
There is a church in my area that has a patch. I am going to try to get over there this week with my granddaughter and take some pictures of her. I am watching her for my daughter on Tuesday and Wednesday. I need to find happy time of day and take her there.
I am trying to get the family together on Sunday afternoon for everyone's pictures. I hope it will happen. I will post pics if I get some......

Homecoming #1
I had so much fun taking pictures of them. I just keep on shooting while they had fun. They always seem to come up with creative poses. Some goofy, some romantic, some serious, some casual, but all of them fun to enjoy and photograph!
Had a little problem on Friday. Deer Park canceled their homecoming dance for Saturday night. So I thought, and so did my daughter that meant it was canceled and I didn't need to get him a garter. Well he came over on Friday with her mum. We didn't have one. I wasn't even at home. I was shopping because I thought it was a regular date and I didn't need to be there. He was so sad. My oldest daughter was dropping of the baby for us to watch when he arrived. He asked her to take some pictures. My daughter thought it was strange that I was not there. I NEVER miss a photo taking opportunity.....lol......When I found out all of this I felt sick I never miss important events in their lives. I have never done anything like this before. Allison felt so bad. She had no clue that he was doing this and she didn't even dress up. She told her dad at least 20 times how bad she felt. I remember when Lloyd told me about this even asking him why did he bring her mum over this week-end....he quickly told me it was a Deer Park mum....I finally clicked. I felt horrible and couldn't think of anything else that evening.
When they came home we took pics of them in their casual clothing with her mum. She told me they were double dating the next night and the girls decided to dress up. They were going to wear their dresses they had already bought and go out to dinner and the movies. She told me that she wish they had mums so they could take pictures that day. She also told me that he told his mom we had no mum. By his reaction, she could tell that she was not happy. Well me being the mom I am called all over town to find a mum for a homecoming that was the night before.....Do you have a clue how hard that is? Well I found one at Krogers, went and got it and had it personalized with their names.
Saturday he came over dressed up for him and we surprised him with a mum(garter). He was shocked and so happy. I never thought a garter would make him so happy. We acted like it was the night before and took pictures. They had a blast coming up with new poses for their pictures. While they were shooting pictures his mom called. He proudly told her they surprised me with a garter. You could tell he was so happy and he went on to tell her we were taking a lot of pictures. I was amazed how happy is was. I guess I really didn't think those meant anything to a guy, but I was really wrong.
The whole time we were taking pictures he kept on telling her how pretty she was. He even repeately told his mom. Allison went on to tell me that he told her that all evening. He told her she was never so beautiful as that night. She stated he was so sweet.
They went out to eat at a steakhouse and then saw Nights in Rodanthe starring Richard Geer. They had wonderful evening. I was so thankful that we found a mum and could make his day.

3 Dresses
Had a fun week-end looking for dresses....
One child in Deer Park....One child LaPorte...Equals 2 homecoming dresses...
Started in Baybrook found the perfect dress....Problem...wrong size. Thought we found the perfect size close to home....wrong.....Wound up at a 3rd J C Penney's for the right size. Beautiful dress...Black with a full glittery netting skirt...tea length, with a halter style top. Beautiful dress.......she will look great!
Dress number 2 came from Dillard's Black and White, length at the knee...good price..regularly over 130 on sale for 78 marked down again to 48.....
Dress number 3 came from J C Penney's it is a floor length Fuchsia dress with lots of tiny pleats in the skirt. Has spaghetti straps and slips over her head. This one was priced too good to pass it up. She always needs banquet formals and this year is the prom.....Colton's. So for the price I went ahead and bought it. She will need 4 to 5 formals this year. I told her I buy them this year and she will rotate them to all the fun things next year, except her prom.....I will buy a new one then.
We bought 2 others in the process and took them home, then returned them on Sunday. One of the dresses cost as much as 2 of the other ones. Nice dress, but ridiculously expensive.
We went to dinner and a game of Putt Putt on Friday{Colton went with us}, dinner and dress shopping on Saturday, and dinner along with dress returning on Sunday. Thought about going to Dallas to see Ashley and Josh, but never could get ahold of them. So we blew off that idea.
We are taking Haelee's picture on Thursday at JC Penney's. I am so excited! They have cute backgrounds and I have seen some of their work. She is alittle over 6 months old and hasn't had a professional picture taken since 1 month old. Can't wait to see these!! I think I will look for a dress on Wednesday when I am off. I want her to be in frilly little dress.
Work on Monday-Tuesday....VACATION!! Yeah...Becky
