Homecoming #2

Well, last night was Homecoming #2. They seemed to have alot of fun! This time it was LaPorte's. The game was Friday and LaPorte won.... Yeah! The dance was the next night. They went to Antonio's first and then to the dance at the high school from 8 pm-12 am. We took a ton of pictures before they left. I think we were all tired of picture taking by time the night was done. They are such a cute couple. He really treats her like a princess. That is one of the many things I like about him. Good guy...

She is a junior at LaPorte High school and he is a senior at Deer Park High school. He is already 17 and she will be 17 in December. They met at church while on the praise team. I remember for months her telling me about this handsome guy on the praise team who she really liked. When she talked about him she lite up and just beamed. It was so obvious she really liked this guy. I encouraged this relationship as he sounded great. Once we got to know him, we found out he was a very compassionate and caring young man. We could see why she liked him so much. The dress she wearing is the one we searched high and low far at JCPenny's. She later told us he was on the only one in blue jeans. It didn't seem to bother him. I do remember telling him they dress up at her dance. I guess he forgot. He looked very handsome in his black with white pinned stripe shirt. He told me it was his choir shirt. He is in a group at his school. At this point I can not remember the name. I sure I will later.

At times they remind me of Ashley and Josh at this age. I used to take their pictures all the time before all the homecomings, proms, military balls etc. They were always goofy and fun to shoot pictures of. Colton doesn't mind having his picture taken so it is fun to take their pictures.

Most important they had a great time.
